Frequently Asked Questions

For the latest information about online orders, check our shipping policies page.

When will I get my order?

We start processing orders as soon as they're received, and usually ship within a week. From there, transit times vary by location, but most carriers will tell you 1-5 business days.

You'll receive tracking information when your order ships, which you can use to follow your order until it is delivered.

Can I speak with someone about my order?

We're a small team (seriously, there are only three of us) and processing and transit times are less predictable than ever right now. But if you need to make a change or think there may be a problem, please follow these steps:

1. Email orders@casamaraclub.com with your order number in the subject line, or just respond to your Order Confirmation email. You will be connected with our lovely director of sales and operations, Jenny. (They're the best.)

2. Be patient. We are normal people who take nights, weekends, and holidays off. That means it may take 1-2 business days to respond. (Any longer than that, feel free to follow up. Did I mention we are normal people?)

3. We can't guarantee any changes after you've placed an order, but we'll do what we can to accommodate.

My packaged was stolen, damaged, or lost in transit. What do I do?

If your order is stolen, damaged, or lost in transit, please reach out to orders@casamaraclub.com within 5 days of the initial scheduled delivery. Please include your order number in the subject line, attach a photo showing the damage (if applicable), and let us know if you would prefer a replacement or refund.

We cannot guarantee a refund or replacement if you do not email us within 5 days of receiving the package.

UPS/FedEx Ground doesn't work for me. Can you ship via another method?

If you are unable to accept deliveries via UPS or FedEx Ground (e.g., if you would like to use a PO Box), please email us at orders@casamaraclub.com and we'll see what we can do.

Can I pause, swap, or cancel my subscription?

First, create an account using the same email address you used to place your subscription order. You can do that here.

Then you will be able to login to your account to pause, swap, or cancel your subscription.

Not working? Send an email to orders@casamaraclub.com with your most recent order number (or respond directly to your most recent Order Confirmation email), and we'll see what we can do.

What is a leisure soda?

Don't overthink it.

What is amaro?

Read more about amaro and what that's got to do with us here.

Do the sodas contain alcohol?

Casamara Club's flavors are inspired by Italian amaro and other alcoholic beverages, and we approach our recipes the same way any great bartender would, but all of our leisure sodas are totally non-alcoholic.

Do the sodas help with hangovers?

We've heard from some people that our drinks can help with a hangover, but there isn't any real, scientific evidence we're aware of to back that up.

Are the sodas gluten free?

While none of our ingredients contain gluten, neither our drinks nor the facilities we can/bottle in are certified gluten free.

Are your sodas safe during pregnancy?

We haven't received any certifications that our products are "pregnancy-safe," so we aren't comfortable making that call. What we can do is share more about our ingredients and process, so that you can make an informed decision with your health care professional.

Our drinks are made with sparkling water, juices (which we pasteurize), sugar or honey, sea salt, and what most food/drinks makers would simply lump under the term "natural flavors." (See the next question for more on why we don't use the term "natural flavors" on our labels.)

We know some people aren't comfortable eating or drinking anything with "natural flavors" or "natural essences" on the label, especially while pregnant. That's why we share each and every ingredient on the back of each can or bottle, and on the page for each drink. One ingredient we've been asked about is our juniper extract, since Onda, Como, and Alta each contain a few drops (less than 0.3mL).

Why don't you use "natural flavors"?

We use botanical extracts, never "natural flavors." To make a "natural flavor," the producer always starts with some real botanical extract, but that extract is then cut with other, unlisted ingredients.

The added chemical compounds in "natural flavors" are typically used to make the end product cheaper and more consistent from batch to batch, and tailored by industry scientists to make you crave more of what you're drinking.

Does using botanical extracts instead of natural flavors/essences make your product less consistent?

Yes, it can! We're proud of the fact that each of our botanical extracts may taste a bit different each time we produce it, based on all sorts of natural and agricultural forces that are totally outside of our control.

Producers of "natural flavors" control for variation by using cheap chemical additives to maintain a consistent flavor profile. But that just seems boring.

Why do you add sugar/honey to your drinks?

Because it tastes good. Sugar-free sweeteners like Stevia, monkfruit, and aspartame have never tasted that great to us. Sweetening with fruit juice alone can taste great, but it can overpower the botanicals we want to highlight.

We think a few grams of real sugar is a much cleaner, tastier way to add depth of flavor to the botanicals we're playing with.

How should I store your drinks?

While we prefer to drink them cold, you can store our soft drinks at room temperature.

Can I mix Casamara Club with alcohol?

Sure, why not? We make our soft drinks to be enjoyed on their own, but we've had plenty of fun using them as mixers. Check out the Recipes page for some inspiration.

How can I find Casamara Club at my favorite shop/bar/restaurant?

Check out our Find page to see if we're available near you.
